The shore of the Delaware Bay has magnificent sunrise, sunset & moonrise. The land is flat and wide open for long views, reflections, and color. We’ll practice both the sunset & the full moon rise during the May workshop.
Shorebirds, Shorebirds, Shorebirds!
Tired shorebirds in fresh breeding plumage will be abundant in the thousands with the presence of horseshoe crab eggs. They’ll be more focused on food than photographers and we’ll take full advantage of their feeding frenzy. Crossed fingers for red knots, ruddy turnstones, oystercatchers, black skimmers, plovers, killdeer, and many more.
What’s Included
Waterfront lodging for two nights in Airbnb, Frederica, DE.
All meals included. We will accommodate all dietary preferences.
Group shooting sessions and time to shoot on your own.
Classroom instruction on Friday & Saturday afternoon.
What’s NOT Included
Transportation to Frederica
Transportation from house to shooting locations (carpooling is encouraged).
Costs
$875 per person for a solo room. If you are traveling with a partner, both taking the workshop, and wish to share a room, the cost is $715 each.
$200 non-refundable deposit to hold place. Balance due by April 8 for May 9-11 workshop.
Cancellation Policy
$200 deposit is non-refundable.
Full balance is not refundable if canceling after April 8th, 2025, unless we can fill your space, at which time you will receive a full refund.
100% Refund if canceled by us for any reason.
