Waterfalls & Wildflowers
August 1-2, 2026
Explore Shenandoah National Park & Surroundings
Most of us think of spring as the perfect flower photography, but the later summer months provide just as much splendor, with fields and fields of ironweed, goldenrod, Queen Anne’s Lace, black-eyed susan, aster, Joe Pye weed, thistle, and more. All contending for a chance to feed the loads of butterflies, bees, moths, and late-season pollinators. It’s like a Disney movie! We’ll explore fields of flowers and pepper it with hikes and falling water.
